Why I Can't Watch Movies About War In 101 Words

I have this instinctive aversion to them.  And it’s based on a very simple characteristic — human characteristic.  Any time I read that war is the major subject of the movie, I flip to the next channel.  Because whenever I try to conjure what that picture looks like, I always extract images of actual war scenes, and those sicken me.  But then I thought I’d try watching this one flick with war as its subject, and I had completely forgotten how good Hollywood is at trivializing something.  It had that Oprah Aura about it.  And I immediately realized where I was.
