Trying To Comprehend The End Of A Marriage

Rarely do we begin a marriage with thoughts of divorcing the one we “love,” – unless, someone has a bullet to your head – while exchanging vows at the Altar (or, City Hall). We are far too fresh and still foolish enough to believe in love.
But after a while, it gets old.
A pain.
So while it may take a while for those clouds to roll in …
But when they do, you can bet they are not going to go away.
Willingly.
Or otherwise.
So then.
Imagine an overcast day in Baltimore, with the Counting Crows singing about the rain in Baltimore, and the actual mini storms that passed through. And now it’s over.
That’s it.
